Senior Sydney urologist, Urology NSW. Public appointments at St Vincent's Hospital. Private operating at St Vincent's Private Hospital Darlinghurst and the Mater Hospital North Sydney.

Dr Raji Kooner, urological surgeon

A subspecialty interest in BPH surgery

Dr Kooner has more than 20 years of experience in the surgical management of benign prostatic hyperplasia. He offers the full range of modern transurethral BPH operations, including GreenLight laser vaporisation, Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP), transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), UroLift, Rezum and iTind.

Because the right operation depends on prostate size, bladder function, blood thinner status and personal priorities, Dr Kooner tailors the recommendation to each patient rather than defaulting to a single technique.
